The World Immunization Week will commence tomorrow (April 24).
The initiative is being observed in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Consultant Epidemiologist at the Epidemiology Unit, Dr. Palitha Karunapema, stated that several special programmes will be implemented in Sri Lanka to mark the occasion.
