The duo shared a 167-run partnership off 156 balls for the third wicket, sealing India’s place in the final.

Meanwhile, South Africa beat England in the first semi-final to reach their maiden World Cup final.

This will be the first Women’s ODI World Cup final since its inauguration 52 years ago (in 1973) without England or Australia.

Although India had previously reached the final in 2005 and 2017, this is South Africa’s first first-ever appearance in the title clash.

The final will be played on Nov. 02 at the same venue.
