Sri Lanka has emerged as the runner-up of the South Asian Senior Athletics Championship (SASAC) 2025, which concluded yesterday (Oct. 26) in Ranchi, India.
Sri Lankan athletes delivered an outstanding performance, winning a total of 40 medals – 16 gold, 14 silver, and 10 bronze.
A 60-member contingent represented Sri Lanka at the championship.
