The launch of ‘Purappattuwa’, the latest novel by renowned media personality – Manohari Hewawasam, was held yesterday (August 07) at the Mahaweli Centre Auditorium, Colombo 07 amid well known personalities from several circles.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Dhamma Dissanayake, while a discussion panel featuring senior critic – Deepthi Kumara Gunarathne, Dr. Geethika Dharmasinha, Attorney-at-law Lakshika Ratnayake, and journalist – Thushara Sewwandi Witharana also took place.
‘Purappattuwa’ is Manohari’s third work of fiction, which comes a decade after her last publication – ‘Pembara.’
